The printer does not enter the sleep mode when it is connected via a wireless LAN.

The printer may not enter the sleep mode when it is connected using infrastructure mode with its wireless LAN connection mode set to [Infra/Direct Mode].

Follow the steps below to change the wireless LAN connection mode.

 

  1. Press the [Menu] button on the printer.
  2. Select [WLAN] and press the [OK] button.
  3. Select [Network Mode] and press the [OK] button.
  4. Select [Infrastructure Mode] or [Direct Mode] according to the setting you are using, and then press the [OK] button.
