FAQs & Troubleshooting

Enable the Brother machine's network interface.

  • A wired and a wireless network connection cannot be used at the same time. Enable the network connection type you want to use and then disable the other.

 

Follow the steps below to enable or disable the Brother machine's network interface (wired LAN or wireless LAN).

 

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to select Network option, and then press OK.
  3. Press the Up or Down arrow key to select Wired LAN or WLAN(Wi-Fi) option, and then press OK.
  4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to select Wired Enable or WLAN Enable option, and then press OK.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To enable, select On.
    • To disable, select Off.
  6. Press OK.

(For wireless network users)
If a network cable is connected to your machine, disconnect it.
