FAQs & Troubleshooting

I am using Safari in Mac OS X. When I created a CSR or a Self-signed Certificate using the IP address to configure the  "Common Name" and I try to access the Print Server using Safari with SSL communication, Safari issues an alert.

When you create a CSR or a Self-signed Certificate, please use the DNS name of the print server to configure "Common Name".

For example, if the DNS name of the Print Server is "brother.department.com", please use it as the "Common Name".

If your question was not answered, have you checked other FAQs?

Have you checked the manuals?
