How do I change the print server password?

The printer ships with a default print server password. To change the default password settings you can use either the BRAdmin application or a standard web browser.

 

CHANGING THE PASSWORD USING BRADMIN

  1. From the main BRAdmin screen double click the appropriate printer.
  2. Enter the print server password (the print server password is detailed in the user guide for the print server).
  3. Click the 'Control' tab.
  4. Click the 'Change Password' button.
  5. Enter the new password details and click 'OK'.
  6. Then click 'OK' from the main print server configuration page to accept the settings.
  7. The print server password has now changed.

 

VIA A WEB BROWSER

  1. Connect to the printer using a web browser.
  2. Click the "Network Configuration" or "Administrator Settings".
  3. Select "Password & Contact" or "Configure Password".
  4. Enter the new password.
