How do I reset the machine to the default settings?

  1. Turn off the P-touch.
  2. While holding down F key and Backspace key, press Power key to turn the P-touch back on.
  3. Release F key and Backspace key.
  4. "1. ENG?" is displayed. The machine has been initialized.

The text and formats in the display and all text files stored in the memory are erased.  Also, the language and unit settings will be cleared.
