A document is jammed. Please open the top cover and remove the jammed paper by pulling it forward, then try again.

Check the following:

 

  1. Open the scanner's top cover and remove the document by pulling it forward.
     
  2. Make sure that no piece of paper remains into the scanner, then close the top cover.
     
  3. Make sure your document is acceptable for the machine.
