Can I use my car cigarette lighter socket to charge the battery?

Using the car cigarette lighter socket to charge the battery is not recommended.

  • The Mprint series printers use a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery.
  • Recharging the battery in extreme temperature, i.e. in a locked car on a hot day could result in fire and/or an explosion.
  • Placing the battery anywhere it will be subjected to direct sunlight or high temperatures may greatly reduce performance and furthermore make the battery unusable.

Recharge the battery only with the adapter designed for the Mprint series in a room at 10-35 degrees Celsius.
