How do I type an uppercase letter?

  • To type an uppercase letter:
    1. Press the Shift key ( Shift ) to enter the Shift mode. (Do not hold down the Shift key.)
    2. Type the letter.
  • To type uppercase letters continuously:
    1. Press the Code key ( Code key ), then the Shift key ( Shift ) to enter the Caps mode. The Caps indicator will appear.
    2. Type the letters.
  • To exit the Caps mode:
    1. Press the Code key ( Image ), then the Shift key ( Shift ).
    2. The Caps indicator will disappear.
