"E08" message appears on the LCD. What does it mean?
Cause
This message is displayed when the Start/Stop button is pressed while the machine is set for the stitch width control.
Solution
Use the foot controller to operate the machine or turn off the width control function.
If you want to operate the machine with Start/Stop button, turn off the Width control function as follows.
When the width control function is enabled, the mark is displayed on the LCD screen as shown in the figure below.
To disable the width control function, press the width control key on the operation panel.
The mark on the LCD screen disappears and the width control function turn off.
