How to make adjustments to decorative stitch patterns

Your stitch pattern may sometimes turn out poorly, depending on the type or thickness of fabric, the stabilizer material used, sewing speed, etc. If your sewing does not turn out well, sew trial stitches using the same conditions as the real sewing, and adjust the stitch pattern as explained below.

The basic steps to make adjustments to decorative stitch patterns are as follows.

  1. Sew the specified pattern for adjustment.

  2. Check the sewn pattern.

  3. Make necessary adjustments on the settings screen according to the sewing result.

  4. Sew the specified pattern again to confirm the sewing result after adjustments.

1. Sewing the specified pattern for adjustment

Sew the specified pattern for adjustment using a piece of fabric, thread and needle that are the same conditions as your real sewing.

Guide the fabric with your hand to keep the fabric feeding straight and even during sewing.

If the fabric is pulled or pushed during sewing, the pattern may not turn out correctly. In such a case, adjustments may not be made correctly

    > The machine stops automatically when sewing is finished.

  7. When sewing is finished, cut the threads, raise the presser foot lever and remove the fabric.

2. Checking the sewn pattern

Check the sewn pattern with the way that is shown below.
