The needle strikes the presser foot

  • Be sure to use the straight stitch needle plate when the straight stitch foot is attached on the machine.
     
  • When using free-motion quilting foot C or 1/4" quilting foot with guide ,

    be sure to select one of the patterns with a center needle position (Q-01 or 1-30 ).

    Using any other stitch may result in the needle striking the quilting foot, causing damage or injuries.
