Incorrect thread tension

  • Even though the thread tension dial is set to the Standard/Basic setting, it may need to be adjusted depending on the combination of fabric, thread and needles being used.
  • Make sure you use a bobbin that is best suited for your machine.

 

The first 2-4 stitches of a seam may become weak.Sew reverse/reinforcement stitches at the beginning of your sewing.
