Check the Serial Number
Check label attached to your Brother machine
The serial number is on the back of the unit.
Check the serial number from Brother Mobile Connect
You can also see the serial number by using Brother Mobile Connect.
- Start Brother Mobile Connect on your mobile device.
- Tap your model name on the top of the screen.

Tap All Machine Settings.
Web Based Management appears. -
If required, type the password in the Login field, and then tap Login.
The default password to manage this machine's settings is located on the back of the machine and marked "Pwd". We recommend immediately changing the default password to protect your machine from unauthorized access.

Go to the navigation menu, and then tap General > Maintenance Information.

, if the navigation menu is not shown on the left side of the screen. -
Check your Brother machine's serial number.
