Colored spots at 94 mm (3.7 in.) intervals or at 24 mm (0.9 in.) intervals
Follow the instructions below for your case:

Case 1: Colored spots at 94 mm (3.7 in.) intervals
Check the following points to solve the problem:
- To get the best print quality, we suggest using the recommended paper. Check that you are using paper that meets our specifications. Click here to see details of the recommended paper.

The drum units or toner cartridges may not be installed correctly. Check that the drum units or toner cartridges are installed correctly.

If the problem is not solved after printing a few pages, foreign material, such as glue from a label, may be stuck on the drum surface. Clean the drum unit as follows:

- Compare your printed document with the printed chart to identify the color of the drum unit causing the problem.
- Clean the drum unit of the color. Click here to see how to clean the drum unit.
- The drum unit may be damaged. Identify the color causing the problem by using the chart printed in Step 3, and install a new drum unit of the color. Click here to see how to replace the drum unit.
Case 2: Colored spots at 24 mm (0.9 in.) intervals
Check the following points to solve the problem:

The drum units or toner cartridges may not be installed correctly. Check that the drum units or toner cartridges are installed correctly.

The toner cartridge may be damaged. Install a new toner cartridge as follow:
