FAQs & Troubleshooting

The tape, fabric ribbon or ink ribbon ran out during printing.

Replace the consumables with new ones.

To restart printing after consumables are replaced, start printing again from the beginning of that roll.

To replace the tape cassette, see "Replacing the tape cassette".
To replace the ink ribbon cassette, see "Replacing the ink ribbon cassette ".

 

  • With a USB cable connection
    To restart printing after replacing consumables, click Resume on the computer screen.

    To cancel printing, click Cancel on the computer screen while the tape end error or ribbon end error is displayed.
     

  • With a wired network connection
    Printing is automatically restarted when the covers are closed after consumables have been replaced.

    To cancel printing, press the MENU/ESC button on the machine while the tape end error or ribbon end error is displayed.
