Adjust the settings of the ring volume, beeper volume and speaker volume on my Brother machine.

Your Brother machine has three adjustable volume settings: Ring Volume, Beeper Volume, and Speaker Volume. Please follow steps below:


CHANGING RING VOLUME

You can change your Brother machine's Ring Volume by following steps:


  1. Press image(Settings).

  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display General Setup.

  3. Press General Setup.

  4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Volume.

  5. Press Volume.

  6. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Ring.

  7. Press Ring.

  8. Press the Up or Down to display Low, Med, High or Off, and then press the option you want to set.

  9. Press image.

CHANGING BEEPER VOLUME


You can set your Brother machine's Beeper Volume to Low, Medium, High, or Off. When the beeper is on, the machine will make a sound when you press the Touchscreen or Touchpanel, make a mistake, or after you send or receive a fax.

To Change your Brother machine's Beeper Volume, follow these steps:

  1. Press image(Settings).

  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display General Setup.

  3. Press General Setup.

  4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Volume.

  5. Press Volume.

  6. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Beep.

  7. Press Beep.

  8. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Low, Med, High or Off, and then press the option you want to set.

  9. Press image.

CHANGING SPEAKER VOLUME


You can change your Brother machine's Speaker Volume by following these steps:


  1. Press image(Settings).

  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display General Setup.

  3. Press General Setup.

  4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Volume.

  5. Press Volume.

  6. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Speaker.

  7. Press Speaker.

  8. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Low, Med, High or Off, and then press the option you want to set.

  9. Press image.


You can also adjust the speaker volume by pressing Hook.


  1. Press image(Fax).

  2. Press Hook.

  3. Press image or image on the Touchpanel.

  4. Press image.

  5. Press image or image on the Touchscreen. Each press changes the volume to the next setting.

  6. Press image.

  7. Press Hook.
