My Brother machine does not feed the glossy paper or envelope from the manual feed slot.

The glossy paper or envelope may not be inserted into the manual feed slot correctly.


Using both hands, put the glossy paper or envelope in the manual feed slot and push it until the front edge touches the paper feed roller and you feel the paper feed roller grab the paper or envelope.
