Make my received faxes lighter or darker.
You can adjust your Brother machine's Print Density setting to make your printed pages darker or lighter.
To change the Print Density setting, follow these steps:
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.
- Press the FAX key to illuminate it.
- Press the MENU key.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose Fax.
- Press the OK key.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose Setup Receive.
- Press the OK key.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose Print Density.
- Press the OK key.
- Do one of the following:
- Press the RIGHT ARROW to make the print darker.
- Press the LEFT ARROW to make the print lighter.
- Press the RIGHT ARROW to make the print darker.
- Press the OK key.
- Press the STOP/EXIT key.
<For touchscreen models>
- Press Menu on the screen.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW to display Fax.
- Press Fax.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW to display Setup Receive.
- Press Setup Receive.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW to display Print Density.
- Press Print Density.
- Do one of the following:
- Press the RIGHT ARROW to make the print darker.
- Press the LEFT ARROW to make the print lighter.
- Press the RIGHT ARROW to make the print darker.
- Press OK.
- Press the STOP/EXIT key.
