Adjust the print position of each color

There are two ways to adjust the print position of each color.

Auto Registration:
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Choose Printer => Auto Regist. and press OK.
  3. Press 1 key to start.
  4. Press Stop/Exit.


<For touchscreen models>

  1. Press Menu on the LCD screen. 
  2. Press the Up or Down Arrow key to display Printer. Press Printer.
  3. Press the Up or Down Arrow key to display Auto Regist.. Press Auto Regist..
  4. The machine will display Auto Regist.?. Press Yes.
  5. The machine will display Completed. Press Stop/Exit.


Manual Registration:
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.

When you manually set the color registration, you need to print the color registration chart first.

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Choose Printer => Manual Regist. => Print Chart and press OK.
  3. Press Black (Mono) Start or Color (Colour) Start to start printing the color registration chart.

Then you can correct the color registration manually.

  1. When the machine has finish printing the registration chart, choose Set Regist. to correct the color manually and press OK.
  2. Set the color registration in accordance with the instruction on the color registration chart. 
  3. Press Stop/Exit.


<For touchscreen models>
When you manually set the color registration, you need to print the color registration chart first.

  1. Press Menu on the LCD screen.
  2. Press the Up or Down Arrow key to display Printer. Press Printer.
  3. Press the Up or Down Arrow key to display Manual Regist.. Press Manual Regist..
  4. Press Print Chart.
  5. Press Black (Mono) Start or Color (Colour) Start to start printing the color registration chart.

Then you can correct the color registration manually.

  1. When the machine has finish printing the registration chart, choose Set Regist. to correct the color manually.
  2. Set the color registration in accordance with the instruction on the color registration chart. 
  3. Press OK if you finish entering the numbers.
  4. Press Stop/Exit.
