FAQs & Troubleshooting |
When I try to dial a One Touch or Speed Dial number, my Brother machine's LCD reads "Not Registered."
If your Brother machine's LCD displays the message, "Not Registered" when you try to dial a One-Touch or Speed Dial number, then there is not a One-Touch or Speed Dial number stored at the location you dialed.
You can verify the locations of your One-Touch and Speed Dial numbers by searching your Brother machine's Auto-Dial memory or by printing the Tel Index List, which lists the names and numbers in Auto-Dial memory in numerical or alphabetical order.
- To search your Brother machine's Auto-Dial memory, go to SECTION A: SEARCHING AUTO-DIAL MEMORY.
- To print the Tel Index List, go to SECTION B: PRINTING THE TEL INDEX LIST.
- Press the SEARCH/SPEED DIAL key.
- Press the DOWN ARROW key.
- Do one of the following:

- Use the dial pad to enter the first letter of the name you're searching for.
- Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select a name.
