The wrong power cord was included with the purchase of my Brother machine.

There is a possibility that the machine was package with an incompatible AC Power Cord, not suitable for use in the USA. To identify that you have received an incorrect AC Power Cord with your machine, refer to the photos below.

If you have a cord that has 2 prongs and cannot locate voltage information written on a white label (MAX. 10A 12V) as shown above, do NOT use the power cord. Do NOT use any other power cord that might fit into the machine, even for temporary use.
