While holding down the 'Code' key, press the 'BS' (Clear) key.
Release both keys.
To clear the Text and the Format (the design of the label), press the 'UP ARROW' or the 'DOWN ARROW' key to move the check mark to "Text and Format " on the display. .
To clear the text only, press the 'UP ARROW' or the 'DOWN ARROW' key to move the check mark to "TEXT ONLY" on the display.
Press the 'RETURN' or 'New Block' key (The key with the broken arrow pointing left).
