What is the difference between the Auto Format command and the Apply Layout Style command?

  • Auto Format
The Auto Format command is a pre-defined series of label layouts where the font, style, and position of text are set. You can easily create a new label by choosing Auto Format when first opening P-touch Editor. You will be guided to change text only.

  • Apply Layout Style
Use the Layout Style function, available with the application, to create a label layout.
Layout styles automatically format the position of text and graphic objects on a label.
If an add-in is used, the label data is automatically formatted by applying the last used layout style (for that label supply).
