The power button does not light up or flash.

Check that the power supply cord is connected to the back of the QL-500/QL-550 and plugged in.

If the cord is plugged in, try to plug it into a different electrical outlet. The one currently plugged into might not work.
If the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet strip, make sure the strip is turned ON.

If the power button still does not light up or flash, contact Brother Customer Service at 1-877-4Ptouch
