How do I store received faxes in memory?

If you set Fax Storage to ON, your FAX/MFC will hold all incoming faxes in memory until either you opt to print or delete them. The LCD will indicate when you have a fax stored in memory. Additionally, if there is paper in your machine and Fax Storage is enabled, then your FAX/MFC will automatically print each fax as it is received into memory. This is a safety feature to ensure that you will have a backup copy of each fax in case the machine loses power and the messages are lost.

To turn Fax Storage ON, please follow these steps:

  1. Press Menu.

  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Fax and press OK.

  3. Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Remote Fax Opt and press OK.

  4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Fwd/Page/Store or Forward/Store and press OK.

  5. Use the Up or Down arrow key to choose Fax Storage (or Off if you wish to disable Fax Storage). Press OK.

  6. Press Stop/Exit.

If your received faxes are not printing, make sure Fax Storage is turned Off.
