Confirm that a FAX I sent was received correctly.
You can use the Transmission Verification Report and Fax Journal (Activity Report) as confirmation that you sent a fax.
Transmission Verification Report:
You can use the Transmission Verification Report as proof that you sent a fax. This report lists the receiving party's name or fax number, the time and date of transmission, duration of transmission, number of pages sent, and whether or not the transmission was successful.
There are several settings available for the Transmission Verification Report:

On: Prints a report after every fax you send.

On+Image: Prints a report after every fax you send. A portion of the fax's first page appears on the report.

Off: Prints a report if your fax is unsuccessful due to a transmission error. Off is the default setting.

Off+Image: Prints a report if your fax is unsuccessful due to a transmission error. A portion of the fax's first page appears on the report.
- No Report: Does not print a report at all.
To program the Transmission Verification Report, follow the steps listed below.

Press (Settings).

Press All Settings.
-
Press Up or Down arrow key to display Fax.

Press Fax.
-
Press Up or Down arrow key to display Report Setting.

Press Report Setting.
-
Press Transmission or XMIT Report.

Press one of the above-listed settings.
If you choose On+Image or Off+Image, the image will not appear on the Transmission Verification Report if Real Time Transmission is set to On.

Press (Home).

If your transmission is successful, "OK" will appear next to "Result" on the Transmission Verification Report.
- If your transmission is not successful, "NG" or "error" will appear next to "Result" on the Transmission Verification Report.

If your transmission is successful, "OK" will appear next to "Result" on the Transmission Verification Report.
Fax Journal (Activity Report):
You can also use the Fax Journal (activity report) which lists the last 200 incoming and outgoing faxes.
You can program the machine to print the report at regular intervals (every 50 faxes; every 6, 12, or 24 hours; every 2 or 7 days) and you can print the report on demand.
To set the report interval, follow the steps listed below.

Press (Settings).

Press All Settings.

Press Up or Down arrow key to display Fax.

Press Fax.
-
Press Up or Down arrow key to display Report Setting.

Press Report Setting.

Press Journal Period.
-
Press Journal Period.
-
Press Up or Down arrow key to display the options of the intervals.

Press the interval you want to set.

Every 6, 12, 24 hours, 2 or 7 days:
The machine will print the report at the chosen time and then erase all jobs from its memory.
If the machine's memory becomes full with 200 jobs before the time you chose has passed, the machine will print the Fax Journal report early and then erase all jobs from the memory. Every 50 Faxes:
The machine will print the Fax Journal report when the machine has stored 50 jobs.

Every 6, 12, 24 hours, 2 or 7 days:

Do one of the following:

If you chose Every 50 Faxes:
Go to STEP 12.

If you chose Every 6, 12, 24 hours or 2 Days:

Press Time.
-
Enter the time to start printing in 24-hour format(*) using the keyboard on the machine's display. For example, enter 19:45 for 7:45 PM. (*When you set 12h Clock in the Date & Time setting, enter the time in 12-hour format and press AM or PM.)
- Press OK.

Press Time.

If you chose Every 7 Days:

Press Time.

Enter the time to start printing in 24-hour format(*) using the keyboard on the machine's display. For example, enter 19:45 for 7:45 PM. (*When you set 12h Clock in the Date & Time setting, enter the time in 12-hour format and press AM or PM.)

Press OK.

Press Day.
- Press Up or Down arrow key to display the day of the week and then press the first day of the 7-day countdown.

Press Time.

If you chose Every 50 Faxes:
- Press (Home).
