How do I type symbols?

To type symbols,

  1. Rotate Set key until 17/19 SYMBOL is displayed, and then press Set key.
    Or holding down Code key, press Shift key.
    A row of symbols appears in the display.

  2. Rotate Set key (or press Up cursor key or Down cursor key to select the desired row of symbols and press Left cursor key or Right cursor key) to select the derided symbol) until the desired symbol appears.
  3. Press Set key or press Enter key to add the symbol to the text.
