When updating the firmware using Brother iPrint&Scan, an error appears and it is not possible to update the firmware.

When updating the firmware using Brother iPrint&Scan, an error appears and it is not possible to update the firmware. Follow the procedure below.

  • Make sure your machine is connected to a network with Internet access.
  • If your network uses a proxy server, tap Proxy and configure the proxy server settings of your Brother machine. If you don't know the proxy settings, consult your network administrator.

If you cannot update after following the points above, update the firmware to the latest version with your computer.

This issue may be resolved by updating the firmware to the latest version.
