You can confirm the firmware version by printing the printer information.
To print the printer settings report:
Make sure a roll of 3" (76.2 mm) receipt paper has been loaded and that the RD Roll compartment cover is closed.
Turn on the printer.
Press and hold the (Feed) button until the POWER indicator starts blinking in green (for RJ-3050/3050Ai) or the message “Printing” is displayed on the LCD display (for RJ-3150/3150Ai). The settings will print.
When the list of printer settings is printed, check "ProgVer" under "<<PRINTER CONFIGURATION>>".
