When I try to dial a One Touch or Speed Dial number, my Brother machine's LCD reads "Not Registered."
If your Brother machine's LCD displays the message, Not Registered when you try to dial a One-Touch or Speed Dial number, then there is not a One-Touch or Speed Dial number stored at the location you dialed.
You can verify the locations of your One-Touch and Speed Dial numbers by searching your Brother machine's Auto-Dial memory or by printing the Quick-Dial List, which lists the names and numbers in Auto-Dial memory in numerical order.
- To search your Brother machine's Auto-Dial memory, go to SECTION A: SEARCHING AUTO-DIAL MEMORY.
- To print the Quick-Dial List, go to SECTION B: PRINTING THE QUICK-DIAL LIST.
SECTION A: SEARCHING AUTO-DIAL MEMORY

Press the SEARCH/SPEED DIAL key.

Press the DOWN ARROW key.

Do one of the following:

To search by name, follow these steps:

Use the dial pad to enter the first letter of the name you're searching for.

Press the LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW key to choose a name.
- Press the MENU/SET key.

Use the dial pad to enter the first letter of the name you're searching for.
If the LCD reads No Contact Found when you enter a letter of the name, you have not stored any names that begin with that letter.-
To search all stored numbers alphabetically, follow these steps:

Press the LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW key to choose a name.
- Press the MENU/SET key.

Press the LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW key to choose a name.

To search all stored numbers numerically, follow these steps:

Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose a name.
- Press the MENU/SET key.

Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose a name.

To search by name, follow these steps:
SECTION B: PRINTING THE QUICK-DIAL LIST

Press MENU/SET and choose Print Reports => Quick-Dial.

Press the Black (Mono) Start or Color (Colour) Start key. Your Brother machine will print the Quick-Dial List.
- Press the STOP/EXIT key.
