How do I turn off the Status Monitor using the USB port?

To turn off the Status Monitor in a USB environment, follow the procedure below:

 

  1. Click on Start, Settings, and Printers

  2. Click on the HL-1240 or HL-1250 or HL-1270N printer icon.

  3. Click on File and Properties.

  4. Click on Detail Tab, click on Port Settings.

  5. In the USB Port Settings window, remove the check mark in the box next to Status Monitor.
