When receiving a 1 page fax, why does the fax print on 2 pages or a blank sheet ejects afterwards?
If the received data is divided and printed on 2 pages or if you get an additional blank page, you can adjust the Reduction setting.
If you are using the fixed reduction feature, check to see if the reduction ratio is set to ON. (We recommend turning the setting to "AUTO REDUCTION" ON.)
To check the reduction setting:
Press the Menu/Set key.
Press the the up or down navigation key until FAX appears on the LCD and press Menu/Set.
Press the up or down navigation key until SETUP RECEIVE appears and press Menu/Set.
Press the up or down navigation key until AUTO REDUCTION appears and press Menu/Set.
Press the up or down navigation key until ON (or OFF) appears and press Menu/Set.
Press Stop/Exit.
