I'm using Windows. Is there any way to view how much ink is remaining?

You can check the ink status by running the Remote Setup application.
(*Remote Setup is installed automatically when installing the MFL-Pro Suite). Follow the steps listed below to check the ink status.

 


  1. Click Start->Program->Brother->Brother MFL-Pro Suite ->MFC Remote Setup.
  2. It takes 2 or 3 minutes until the "Brother MFC Remote Setup Program" dialog box appears on the PC display. Please wait.
  3. Click on Maintenance on the left in the drop down options.
