Uninstall the driver (OS X 10.10 or greater).

Follow the steps below to uninstall the driver.


  1. Disconnect the USB cable between the Mac and your Brother machine. (if applicable)
  2. Log on as an Administrator.
  3. Click Go from the Finder bar, Applications => Brother => [model name].
  4. Double click the Brother [model name] Uninstaller.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the driver.
