How do I connect the printer and my mobile device via Bluetooth®?
Use the following procedure to pair the printer with your mobile device:

Make sure the printer is on.
(The Bluetooth setting of the printer is always turned on.) -
Confirm the Bluetooth Local Name.
For details, see the Bluetooth® Connection section of this FAQ: "How to connect the printer to your computer (for Windows)". -
Turn the Bluetooth setting of your mobile device on to display the list of nearby Bluetooth accessories that your device can pair with.
For Apple devices (iPad / iPad Air / iPad mini / iPhone or iPod touch)
(For RJ-2035B/ 3035B only)- From the home screen of your Apple device, tap [Settings], and then tap [Bluetooth].
- Slide the toggle button to the [ON] position.
- From the home screen of your Android™ device, tap , tap [Settings], and then tap [Bluetooth].
- Slide the toggle button to the [ON] position.
- Select your printer (Bluetooth Local Name) and, if required, enter the passkey (PIN code).
- You can change the printer’s network settings by connecting the printer to a computer and using the BPM (Brother Printer Management Tool) (refer to the FAQ: "How to set Bluetooth Local Name or PIN code using the BPM (Brother Printer Management Tool) (for Windows)").
- The Bluetooth connection settings are saved even after the printer is turned off.

Bluetooth may disconnect if the mobile device is separated from the connected printer.
Move close to the printer and select [Bluetooth] from the settings of your mobile device, tap the device you want to connect to from the list of Bluetooth devices, and then connect it again. - For connecting the printer and your mobile device with Wi-Fi®, refer to the FAQ: “How can I connect the printer to my mobile device via Wi-Fi® ?” (Except for RJ-2035B and RJ-3035B)
