Print the WLAN report

You can check your machine's wireless status by printing the WLAN report. If the wireless connection failed, check the error code on the printed WLAN report.

 

Follow the steps below to print the WLAN report.

 

*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.

 

  1. Press Settings or Menu.
  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to select Print Reports.
  3. Press OK.
  4. Press the Up or Down arrow key to select WLAN Report.
  5. Press OK.
  6. Press Black (Mono) Start, Color (Colour) Start or Start.

<For touchscreen models>

  1. Press Menu on the touch screen.
  2. Press the Up or Down arrow to display Print Reports.
  3. Press Print Reports.
  4. Press the Up or Down arrow to display WLAN Report.
  5. Press WLAN Report.
  6. Press Black (Mono) Start, Color (Colour) Start or Start.

The WLAN report will be printed shortly.

If your WLAN report is stating "Connection OK", although you can not print, refer to "Check the wireless status on the WLAN report" and check "Connection: OK".
