1단계: Brother 기기의 상태 확인

1. Brother 기기가 켜져 있는지 확인합니다..
2. Brother 기기의 기기 디스플레이 또는 LED 표시에 오류가 표시되지 않는지 확인하십시오. 오류가 표시되면 문제 해결 섹션으로 이동하여 해결 방법을 찾으십시오.
   기기 화면이 비어 있으면 기기의 아무 버튼이나 눌러 절전 모드에서 깨어나는지 확인하세요..

 

2단계: Brother 제품과 컴퓨터의 연결 확인

• 양쪽 끝에서 USB 케이블을 분리했다가 다시 연결해 보십시오. Brother 기기와 컴퓨터를 모두 분리했다가 다시 연결합니다.

• 케이블이 네트워크 포트, 라인 잭, 외부 잭 또는 USB 포트 이외의 포트가 아닌 기기의 기호로 표시된 USB 포트에 연결되어 있는지 확인하십시오.
  
• 컴퓨터의 다른 USB 포트에 연결합니다.
• 길이가 2.0미터(6피트) 이하인 USB 2.0 인터페이스 케이블을 사용하십시오.
• 다른 동일한 USB 케이블을 사용해 보십시오.

 

3단계: 프린터 드라이버 설정 확인(Windows만 해당)

1. 프린터 폴더 열기.
   
   (Windows 11)
   시작 > 설정 > Bluetooth 및 장치 > 프린터 및 스캐너를 클릭합니다.
   
   (Windows 8 / Windows 10)

   • If the Brother printer is not listed, the driver may not be installed properly. Go to STEP 6.
      
   • If multiple Brother machine's copy icon (for example: Brother [model name] (Copy 1)) exists in the printer list, locate the proper printer driver to use.

     • (Windows 8 / Windows 10)
     
     (Windows 11)
     
      
     1. Turn the Brother machine on. If any other machines are connected, only turn the Brother machine on that you want to use.
     2. Select your Brother machine.
     3. Make sure the Brother machine's status.
        If the status is idle, it means the printer driver is working correctly. Select this printer driver when printing.
        
     (Windows 8 / Windows 10)
     
     If you don't know which printer driver to select, place the cursor on the printer icon for a while, the status of the printer driver will pop up.
     
     If the status is Offline, the printer driver is not working. Select the printer driver that status is not Offline.
     If you always want to print from this printer, right click on the icon of the machine and select set as default printer. And then you will see the check mark on the machine. When you print next time, this printer driver will be selected automatically.

Delete all print jobs.

(Windows 11)

1. Select your Brother machine, and then click Open print queue.
2. If any print job in the queue, click > Cancel all.

(Windows 8 / Windows 10)

1. Right-click your Brother machine and select See what's printing.
2. Click Printer => Cancel All Documents => Yes.
   
   If Cancel All Documents is gray out, click Open As Administrator. Enter a password for an administrator and click Yes.

 

Make sure that the printer status is not paused or offline.

(Windows 11 or later)

This step is available until Windows 10.
If you use Windows 11 or later, go to STEP 4.

 

(Windows 8 / Windows 10)

1. Right-click your Brother machine and select See what's printing.
2. Click Printer => Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline. (Make sure no check mark appears next to this setting.)
   
   If Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline is gray out, click Open As Administrator. Enter a password for an administrator and click Yes.

 

4단계: 애플리케이션 설정 확인(Windows만 해당)

1. 응용 프로그램의 인쇄 창에서 Brother 프린터 드라이버가 선택되었는지 확인합니다.
2. 다른 응용 프로그램에서 인쇄해 보십시오. 다른 응용 프로그램에서 인쇄에 성공하면 사용하려고 했던 응용 프로그램에 문제가 있는 것입니다.

5단계: Brother 기기와 컴퓨터를 다시 시작합니다.
