The label does not cut well.

If the label does not cut well or tape is jammed in the cutter, tape adhesive may have built up on the cutter blades after repeated use.  To correct this problem, the tape cutter must be cleaned.

 

Cleaning the tape cutter

 

Wipe the cutter blades using a dry cotton swab.

 

  • Frequent cleaning is recommended.
     

    Clean tape cutter blade

     

    1. Cutter blade
    2. Cotton swab
    3. Metal section
       

Do not touch the cutter blade with your bare hands.

If the problem still occurs, download and install the latest version of the firmware from the [Downloads] section of this website.
