How do I create an Address Label? (P-touch Editor 5.x for Windows)

Learn the basic use of P-touch Editor while creating a general label.
 

  1. Start P-touch Editor and create a new label layout

    <Using Express mode as an example>
    New

    Click [Start] - [All Programs (or Programs)] - [Brother P-touch] - [P-touch Editor 5.x]. P-touch Editor 5.x will start up.
    Select your machine, choose the New Layout and click Right arrow.

  2. Select the label size

    Select the label size from Media box. You can also set other settings here.

    If the Property bar shows something different, click Paper button on the Command bar.


  3. Enter the text

    Edit screen

    Click Text button on the Command bar to create a text box, and then enter the text. You can use the Text Property box to select options for formatting the text.

  4. Add a frame to the label

    Edit screen

    Click Frame button on the Command bar. The Frame Properties dialog box appears. Select a frame and click OK.

  5. Print the label

    Click Print button on the Command bar.

  6. Completed label

    Printed label

    Peel the printed label from backing and apply the label.
