"No barcodes were detected in the document" is displayed on the computer screen when printing a barcode using the Crop Print function.

When the error message appears, confirm below.

  • Did you enlarge or reduce the document in the Print application?
Do not enlarge or shrink PDF data when printing.

  • When printing from Acrobat® Reader: Is [Choose paper source by PDF page size] selected in the Print window?
If so, uncheck the check box of [Choose paper source by PDF page size].

  • When printing from Acrobat® Reader: Is [Auto portrait/landscape] selected under [Orientation] in the Print window?
If so, select [Portrait] under [Orientation].

  • Is the original you created match the conditions of Crop Print function?
If the prepared original does not match the condition of Crop Print function, this problem may occur.
For details about the Crop Print function, see the FAQ: "How can I use Crop Print function? (How to print multiple barcodes from a PDF file separately) (For Windows only)".

  • Is the barcode attached to the original document as an image?
Use the generated barcode as is for the document. The quality of the output barcode is degraded when imported as an image, making it impossible to be recognized as a barcode.

  • Was it printed using the Snapshot tool in Adobe® Acrobat®? When printing using the Snapshot tool, select [Portrait] under [Orientation] in the Print window. ([Portrait] must be selected under [Orientation], even if the result of the Snapshot is horizontal.)
