I want to connect my Brother machine to a wireless network using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup™)

If you have a wireless access point/router supporting WPS, you can easily connect your Brother machine to your wireless network by following the steps below.

 

Make sure your wireless access point/router supports WPS. For more information, refer to the user’s guide provided with your wireless access point/router.

 

 

Configure the wireless settings:

 

  1. Make sure the power cord is plugged the top cover is closed.
  2. Press PowerButton(Power /On/Off) to turn the machine on and check that the power button LED lights up.
  3. Press  or  (the WiFi button) three times on your machine.
  4. Press and hold the WPS button on your wireless access point/router.

    This step describes the most common method of setting up wireless connection using WPS.

    The WPS button location and operation may vary depending on your wireless access point/router. Please check its user's guide for detailed instructions.

  5. If you have successfully connected your Brother machine to your wireless network, the WiFi LED lights up.

 

Wireless setup is now complete.
