FAQs & Troubleshooting

How can I program my Brother machine's electronic cover page?

You can set your Brother machine to transmit an electronic cover page with the faxes you send. This cover page will show your Station I.D. and, depending on the situation, the number of pages you are faxing. If you are faxing to a One-Touch or Speed Dial number, then the cover page will include the recipient's name, provided you stored it with their number. You can include one of four preset messages on your cover page, or you can program your own message. Further, you can opt to send an electronic cover page before every fax you transmit, or you can set it to be sent with the next fax only.

Comment Options
To compose a comment for your electronic cover page, please follow these steps:

  1. If it is not illuminated in green, press the Fax key.
  2. Press Menu/Set2 (Fax), 2 (Setup Send), 8 (Coverpage Msg).
