How do I check if the MFC has faxes in its memory when it has a mechanical problem?

You can check if your machine has faxes in memory if one of the following messages is displayed on the LCD:

 

-Unit is too Hot

-Machine too Hot

-Unable to Init.

-Unable to Print

-Unable to Scan

  1. Press Menu/Set, 9, 0, 1.
  2. If the LCD shows No Data, there are no faxes left in the MFC's memory.
    If the LCD shows Enter Fax No. there are faxes in the MFC's memory.
  • You can transfer the faxes to another fax machine. To see how to do it, click here.
  • You can transfer the faxes from the MFC's memory to your PC. To see how to do it, click here.
