What is the default password for my BRAdmin or Web Based Management?

How to check the default password:

The default password to manage this machine's settings is located on the back or bottom of the machine and marked "Pwd".
Depending on your model, you may also check the default password by printing the Network Configuration Report.

  • Video contents may change without prior notice.

We strongly recommend changing the default login password in order to protect your machine from unauthorized access, and to make the following features and software more secure:

  • Web Based Management
  • BRAdmin Light/BRAdmin Professional (available models only)
  • Firmware Update Tool

If you've created a custom password for your Brother machine's settings, and you've forgotten the password, you'll have to reset your machine to its factory default settings (such as All Settings Reset or Factory Reset). We cannot help you recover a lost password.

(For wireless network connection user)
If your Brother machine is connected to the wireless network and reset your machine to its factory default settings, you must reconnect your machine to the wireless network again.

For more information, see your model's Online User's Guide.

> You can find the latest Online User's Guide in the Manuals section.
