How do I store Speed Dial numbers on my Brother machine for easy dialing?

You can program your Brother machine to do one type of easy dialing: Speed Dialing. If you lose electrical power, Speed Dial numbers stored in memory will not be lost.

Storing Speed Dial numbers:

Speed Dial numbers are stored as two-digit locations on the dial pad of your Brother machine. Once you have programmed a number to a Speed Dial location, you can dial the number by pressing the Up Arrow key (Speed Dial), the OK key, # key, the two-digit number and then Black Start (Mono Start) or Color Start (Colour Start) key. The Brother machine can store 40 Speed Dial numbers. To store Speed Dial numbers, please follow these steps:

  1. Press the Up Arrow key (Speed Dial).

  2. Press the Up or Down Arrow key to choose Set Speed Dial.
    Press OK.

  3. Press the Up or Down Arrow key to choose the 2-digit Speed Dial location where you want to store the number in.
    Press OK.

    • To store the number without a name, press OK.
