I want to use the Simple Network Configuration capabilities of Apple® Mac OS X but I cannot find my printer in the "Print Center".

  • The Simple Network Configuration capabilities of Mac OS X can only find devices in the local network segment.
  • If your Mac and network devices are not in the same network segment or are connected via a router, you cannot use the Simple Network Configuration capabilities of Mac OS X.
  • In these cases, we recommend you use TCP/IP printing.
