Black ink is still wet after printing on glossy paper from my computer
When printing on glossy paper, make sure you select Photo Paper (Brother BP71 Photo Paper/ Brother BP61 Photo Paper/ Other Photo Paper) as the Media Type in the printer driver:
NOTE: The screens on your computer may vary depending on your operating system.
Windows
- Click Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers
- Right-click your printer icon and select Printing Preferences...
- In the Basic tab, select Photo Paper (Brother BP71 Photo Paper/ Brother BP61 Photo Paper/ Other Photo Paper) for the Media Type.
- Click OK..
Mac
- Click File > Print.

Click the disclosure triangle next to the Printer pop-up menu.

Select Print Settings in the Print dialog box.
- Click the Media Type pop-up menu.
- Select Photo Paper (Brother BP71 Photo Paper/ Brother BP61 Photo Paper/ Other Photo Paper).
