I cannot connect to the Active Directory running on Windows Server 2003 using the LDAP feature. The error message "error code=8" appears at the end of the configuration using Web Based Management, or "Server Time-out" error message appears on the LCD. What should I do?
Your Brother device supports only simple authentication . Encrypted authentication and SSL/TLS are not supported.
Please follow the procedure below to confirm and change the setting value on the Active Directory Server.
Launch Domain Controller Security Policy from Administrative Tools .
Select "Security Settings " => "Local Policies " => "Security Options ".
Set LDAP server signing requirements to "None " in Domain Controller .
Reboot the Active Directory server.
