I am unable to scan using Windows XP Professional x64 Edition with a parallel connection after changing the user account using the "Switch User" option.

  • To resolve this issue, use the WIA driver instead of the TWAIN driver.
  •  If you want to scan using the TWAIN driver, please use your Brother machine with the USB/ LAN connection.
