What printer driver emulation can be used with the HL-2040/2045 ? Can the HL-2040/2045  be used with a DOS application?

The HL-2040/2045 printer can only be used with Windows, MAC or Linux using the Brother HL-2040/2045 printer driver in the operating systems listed below. It cannot be used with a DOS application.

 

Windows 95/98/Me

Windows 2000/NT/XP

Mac OS 9.1 - 9.2.x

Mac OS 10.2.x


  • USB is not supported under Windows 95 or Windows NT.
  • Power Macintosh is only supported with an Apple original pre-installed USB port.
